Actions Speak Louder Than Words

“Silence make the real conversations between friends. Not the saying, but the never needing to say that counts.” ― Margaret Lee Runbeck

Thinking about that quote by Runbeck, you might recollect a time that exact thing shifted in a friendship of yours.

At what point in your life did your “lightbulb” go on?

Was it something you wished to happen sooner than it did?

Our world is constantly filled with words and text due to our big brother technology age.

We find incessant verbal barraging every time we get a notification on our smart phones, go outside and see billboards, and of course, we’re forced to know the opinions of everyone whenever we read comments and rant posts on social media.

It may be difficult to remember the importance of silence, or compassionate acts as we are barraged with words all the time; however, it is not impossible to accomplish all of those things simultaneously if we would only focus on ourselves instead of everyone around us.

Stay focused on the simple things.  Remember to appreciate those you love.
